| What's
it about? |
| |
| Knowledge
of safe axe use and natural materials becomes a life saving
skill in isolated regions. However, in less extreme situations
for craft or practical skills it would still be difficult
if not impossible to accomplish without a thorough understanding
of the methods. This course will focus on all of the possible
treatments of the axe and also some of the other related
woodcraft tools such as the knife, adze and froe. We cover
the whole process from felling trees, working the wood
to craft applications including carving and working with
roots and bark. You will end up with a thorough knowledge
of what these wonderful tools can do for you together
with some really impressive items to take home. |
